hey,

can anyone help me out, want to find a good engineer in adelaide, want to do an engine upgrade in my 1200 ute but not sure what motor to put in it that can be engineered. does any1 kno how hard it is to find some1 to engineer a 12a rotary non turbo? a mate has a full setup out of an rx7 that im looking at but i want to talk to an engineer b4 i go and buy a motor for it. what would most people go for usually with an upgrade, like what motor?

Hey x-zakly, Talk to Doug Potts from Australian Technoligy, he Does all my Engneering.

If you do your car correctly, you can drop about any motor into it. I have an SR20DET aproved in my Ute.

did you have much trouble getting your engineered and was it very expensive?
im just lookin at price and how hard its gana be at the moment. was there alot u had to changE? or just mainly brakes and suspension?

well money it cost bout 2500, coz they hire out mallala to test ya car out..

you change brakes, suspenison, tyres, anything that will make u stop, turn better..

its power agaisnt brakes.. if brakes dnt stop in that area.. repay money again

ok thanks heaps

i was thinking about goin with a 12a rotary non turbo. do use kno what would be the biggest brakes and struts that would fit easiest into my 1200 ute? i want to do the brakes and suspension even if i dont do the engine upgrade at the moment coz it will be done eventually. but i might do the upgrade now if i can do it easy enough. thanks for your help
