an engineer would be the one to ask.
do you really trust "dudes that work in the pit"?

so it was rego'd in NSW originally by the look of it,i agree that you would have to know the engineer quite well!

The question is, Would any members on this site pay $30 000 for it??????

What I have heard is that there is a loophole that people use when getting 2 litre engines engineered. They get them passed as commercial vehicles because under that classification the rules are more lenient.

There's also a couple of pics of that ute already floating around on here from a couple of years ago.

well think about it if u wanted to work in the pit for the RTA going threw hundreds of cars inspecting each car carfully and having the rules of what u can do to a car to get it registerd/ road worthy infront of ur face. wouldnt that mean u would need some sort of education most posibly the same as an engerneer might have for the road worthy rules etc.etc.????

umm, no?
my brother is a transport inspector, and they are nothing more than glorified mechanics.
so, no, sr20yo, all you need is a trade certificate.
so i repeat, you would be an idiot to build your car of the word of a pit inspector.
use a proper engineer cheapskate, or you may as well ask the garbage man or the plumber for advice.

how about you think about it.

the reality is there would need to be alot more info and better pics to prove to me that is a $30k car.....from the write up i suspect someone bought this for silly money off someone else and now realises it is not quite worth the money they paid.

just my guess, that said tho i love the wheels. good lord they look tough. i know there are alot here that would rather this ute on 13's but big rims with lots of dish = hot!!!
