Hi,
I'm after a new set of valve lifters (cam tappets) for an A15.
I've been told that they are exactly the same as the A12 lifters, can any1 confirm this?
Are these still available from the local nissan spare parts dealer? Any idea of the part number and the cost?
I know that they can be re-surfaced but i was after new one's if the price is right.
Any help would be much appreciated cheers

I have seen 2 slightly different sorts: one has chamfered edges on the mushroom; other is square edged (the later one I think).
I found this out when replacing a damaged one in my race engine. I doubt it would matter to have an unmatched set in a standard engine though.
Can't see why you'd want to replace with new unless damaged - resurfacing by cam / machine specialist is inexpensive and as good as new.
