Hi guys,
Ive been working on replacing my diff with a Hilux version, things are progressing well so I thought i'd post up my progress.
Diff housing is from a RN46 Hilux and i bought a 4.3 LSD, I broke my previous diff at the drags just over a month ago (12.6 @112MPH). Anyway while ive got it all appart i decieded to replace the springs and all the bushes and design a Caltrac system for it. So here is the progress on the Caltrac.

I replaced the front spring plates with new ones i designed and had laser cut (made from 4mm Mild steel), these drop the front of the spring down 5mm (something i wanted to do to change the rear roll axis a little). Triangular Caltrac plates are 5mm Mild steel. 1/2" rod ends (left and right thread) and 3/4" 4340 CrMo steel was used as the rods. I am still waiting on some parts so it's not quite finished yet.
