Your not rude and your right. $1k is bullsh!t for a bonnet. I think they look worse than the origional bonnet. Thats probably just me though???

Yeah I agree, it's probably just you. There are those that will agree with you of course but they seem to be in the minority.

Like many others, I think that the style of the GL bonnet is an improvement over the original & I bought a more affordable example myself a couple of years ago.

As for its value, well it's a free market controlled only by that old force of supply & demand & the rare stuff is getting harder to find with more & more people wanting it as time goes on. You figure it out.
