why not just make steel plate mounts to use your existing x member? not hard, i have done one set after 1200rc did a set for me.

Thats what I have at the moment....
Vic roads dont care to much for things like that and as they need to inspect the car for me to transfer the interstate rego I require a proper mounting system for the engine.

or just make up some different mounts that bolt to the engine, if they look all nice and shmicko then i doubt anyone will pickup on the fact they arent original

in my defence, i didnt do the ones in my current car, they were like that when i got it.... even i could have made a better attmpt at them but damn they are sturdy

Does anyone know of some one who can fabricate engine mounts that suit the standard 1200 crossmember and A15 engine in Melb area??

At the moment I have a steel plate joining the crossmember to the mounts on the engine but vic roads dont like much
