I am looking for a GX motor and 5 speed gearbox for my 84 datsun 1200 ute..
With all the retrofitting of CA's & SR's going on now there must be some of these engine/gearbox combo's getting around.
Does anybody have any of these things for sale or can anybody put me onto someone who does.
I live in Bundaberg in Queensland Australia but will organise freight from where ever i need to get it

you have any idea how much that setup is going to set you back?? you are looking at nearly $2000 easily

The last one I saw on ebay went for $1400.00.
then again another one didnt get a bid at $1000.00
I got my 60 a series dogleg with my coupe and have had offer after offer on the gear box since!

i bought mine it came with an a14 with single sidey weber for 600 bit of a bargain

motor should run and i believe the gearbox has been rebuilt not to long ago as there is no nearly no shaft play
