I think that the suffering that drugs cause these artists, gives them their inspiration. Most bands suck when they get off drugs.

Drugs or no drugs, I don't care what they do. If they think it makes them more interesting then so be it.

The drugs would definitely fuel their thoughts and lyrics. Whether one hears them as 'creative' or 'rubbish' is their own choice. I reckon they are top musicians regardless of the substance used (or lack of).
