Wheel offset troubles????

I'm looking at buying a set of rims but i'm trying to work out if they'll fit on my ute, the whhel measurement are 13"x5.5 +38offset. can anyone help? will they fit or will they scrub out?

it all depends on what struts you have.

standard, stanza, 180, datsun ect ect you will need spacers if you have r31 struts i think you might get away with it and s13 struts are ok for +38

its a 1000 ute, its pretty standard front end that i know of.

There was a link somone put up in another thread, it's a wheel offset calculator. You basically put the measurement of your old wheels and then you put the measurement of the new wheels and it'll tell you how far the wheel stick in or out of the guards.

How this helps.

i feel so stupid cause i dont know the offset of the wheels i have on the car now,
i have a set of jelly bean mags, does anyone know what the ofset is on the jellybeans?

i went off the ofset that my mags on my 1000 are at now they fit well and there at 13mm offset probably be better at around 15 but ohwell
i went of mine and you will need a 20mm spacer for yours

i would think that they are a standard datsun ofset which is +24 at 6 inch wide

1000s used something like a 12" wheel at 5" wide so its different to 1200's and other datsun models that used a larger wheel ill go out and measure my originals soon
