Hello All,
Well the race was a mix of excitement and disapointment! We teched in on friday and we're ready to dial in on Saturday But the Gremlin that
has Plagued us lately showed up first thing Saturday and we had no spark. After replacing every ignition componant at home it seemed we had found the trouble.With some help
from the Puerto Rican team we discovered a new pickup coil had an intermittent short in it! So we got only one time
Trial at 17.77 ( really not where I thought it should be running). So Sunday eliminations started
and I felt after adjusting the timing and warming the drivetrain up we would be quicker.We we're!!
I dialed A 17.55 But ran a best ever 17.20 at 77 MPH. The breakout wasn't a problem But the OOPS
of a .488 red light was ! So we helped the guy next to us with the primer gray 1200 ready his car
to run .Did I mention that his car had a Rotory and can run 10.60 E T's He had problems though and
lost early too . I will post some Photos as soon as I get them developed AND ESPN2 was there and You all mite see the Bee on TV !! More tomorrow-
