ahhh i was wrong i knew that mine had little sections of pipe in the lower half of the full unit (non cast section) that extended out from the manifold side of the flange that went inside of the cast manifold and was certain that it was a very tite fit that may have been able to seal it but after further inspection i found out it was quite loose of a fit and wouldnt have sealed well
