Hi,

Sorry about the down time, it took longer than planed, I took a day from work to do it but it still was not enough and some things are still missing ...
...but I had to open it to night, so here goes, please add you comments, bugs and suggestions to this thread.

What's new:
* Wiki inside the site
* Members Map
* RSS feeds
* The new system that will allow other improvements

What's old:
* The online store was removed (note to self: we have to find a better way to finance the club)

daniel

The text trail that appears when you post a reply is a nice little improvement. I like, I never had any problems with the old one but I don't mind change either.

You said you have to find an alternate way to fund the site.

I still stand strong on membership fees for members. Perhaps make the forum accessible by the public but have 'posting' and the wiki in the members category only?

Thankyou very much indeed for all your work.

Does anyone know what the statistics are all about, under the member "name" within a thread. e.g

Level : 30; EXP : 92
HP : 149 / 748
MP : 424 / 14828

cheers
benny

HP/MP/EXP Level Mode

HP is determined by your average posts per day.
MP is determined by your join date related to your post count.
EXP goes up each time you post, and when you get to 100%, you gain a level and the EXP drops to 0 again

This is the explaination that is in the other thread.

It looks like we have an Outbox as well which is fantastic.

The messages aren't working just yet but thank god for the Outbox, great amendment.

the only problem i have seen so far is the search bar, when you enter a keyword it doesn't recognise and words under 5 character, so for instance you look up front sway bar, it only search's 'front', not the whole sentence.

Can anything be done about that?

This new format is going some time to get use to! but it is fantastic! change is as good as a holiday as they say.

Looks OK, will have to poke around a bit - I miss the amount of topics on the front page "recent posts" - but can probably work this out by finding the RSS
