I've just returned from a 10 business trip to Japan. I stayed in Toyota City, just outside of Nagoya. I work for Toyota and visited a few factories to check out the new plastic molds for the 2005 Tacoma ( US Hilux) and 2005 Corolla.
Anyways, enough about Toyota's. There are Skylines and Sylvias everywhere as well as the new Nissan Cube. Everything is very clean and the people are friendly and helpfull. I wish i could speak and read Japanese, though, it would make things a lot easier.
Can't wait to go back.

ps- anyone ever see one of these...
Nissan Figaro
I only saw one and it was in the parking lot at a Toyota factory.

The Figaro was limited production in the early 90s, but I heard some were imported (after the fact) to the UK.

I've been wondering ... if they could make a niche car like this, why couldn't they make a "new" B110 Coupe?

These cars, along with several other retro rides are built by Mitsuoka. They're built on existing chassis from major car manufacturers. Very popular.

We have quite alot of them here cause of our large number of jap imports.

They usually retail for around NZ$20,000 which seems like a hell of alot of money to me
