Thanx dd this is a L 20s that came out in some of the skylines here in SA. Our SA 1200s came out with the BW Diffs. So I have a stanza bw diff to of wich I am going to use the centre as they fit. I aslo have a l16 here with a w53 high comp head wich Im going to put onto the l20 sub. It should be a great deal of fun and tyre smoke! Cheers and will keep you posted!

Also why doesnt the su's like wild cams?

Whats the power and economy difference between su's and webers?

Got my 160 sss. Its a bit in pieces but its gonna be beautifull. Got the L16 all stripped but looks like its all there. What do i use to clean the block head and internals?

Im gona use my car race in the fhe fine class at killarney and to do a bit of gymkana. As for the su carbs not liking wild cams, they work on a vacuum type system and a wild cam makes them idle very bad. A 272deg cam is stil ok. Webers will have more power. As for economy that up to your right foot lol.

Galvanising places would be able to do it for you. If there is other places engine rebuilders should be able to tel you

Get it done by an engine shop. Rifle cleaning kits have nice long brushes to clean all the galleries with after acid bath, remove the slugs at each end of the block and replace them with threaded plugs.

Sorry not the coolant welsch plugs, theres plugs to the oil galleries just under the timing cover and behind the flywheel.
