They should fit. Depending on the offset.

Unknown. To know if it will fit, we'd have to have: a) the wheels b) datsun 1200 or c) dodge colt or e) measurements

But -9 puts the center line of the wheels closer to the engine, so the wheels stick out from the car more than stock, which is 4" wide with +30 offset.

Thanks man,

OK, so I am trying to figure this out still...

I have another set of rims that I bought a while back, 13", kind scruffy looking.. but they were cheap

Now for the front wheels in this set they have 155/80 R13... now when we talk about tires hitting the fenders, the way I see it is the tire will hit/rub, when you turn, on the lowest point of the wheel arch (at stock ride hight)

The stock wheels (12") clear by about 60mm when you turn.. the 155/80 R13 clear by about 40mm.

OK, so the 80 R13 overall tire diameter is just under 22.75"... I did a check on the tires on the Rewinds that I am looking at and a tire calculator gives an overall dimention of 22.75" on the 185/60 R14s

So.. no problem there... now when we talk about the tire hitting/rubbing with a 7" wide rim as opposed to a 5.5" wide (which my 13" rims are) we arnt really talking about rim width but more tire width..

My 13" rims have a 155 wide for the front and a 165 on the back... when I installed the 165 on the front I get about .75" clearance.

The wiki pages say that 185 width tires will fit under a stock front wheelarch (185 wide tires are designed for 5.5"-7" rims)

So assuming the 185/60 R14s fit so far the only thing left must be offset.. my 13" rims are .5" or 13mm positive but the rims that I want to buy will be 9mm negative...

So if the tire sits out 22mm further than the 13" rim will this be the cause of my tires rubbing on my fenders...

I noticed that alot of people on here say that Konig Rewinds wont fit, at least not without extensive fender mods, I notice that most guys are talking about putting 15" Rewinds on but I am talking about a 14"... but that probably doesnt matter because tire size is what matters..

The reason that I am asking so many questions is that I found these wheels online... I contacted the guy and have tentatively arranged to go pick them up on monday but its a 2.5-3 hour drive to Calgary from where I am in Lethbridge and $650 is alot of $$$ to throw away on something that wont fit.

Let me know what you think guys

14x7 with -9 offset....very much doubt they will fit without hitting the guard

i dont think a 185 is actually designed for a 7 inch rim....they get a noticeable amount of stretch happening on them, which is not how they are actually designed to fit

but yeah easiest way to tell would be to look at your rims now and then think if the rim was 22mm further out...which is wouldnt me, it would be 22mm plus half of the extra width of 1.5 inchs. so that puts them at sticking out an extra say 40mm
look at your car with the current wheels on and see if the wheels would still clear if they were another 40mm out from the car
