Wow. This is one of greatest car shows in america. Lots of japanese iron. 90 degree weather. Ten sunnys showed along with all sorts of Datsun, skylines galore, vintage honda microcars, rotary, celica, everything.

Its really was a great showing of cars! I was truly impressed (which is hard to do). Also, nice meeting with you! Your truck made me realize even more that mine has a long ways to go..

was good to meet you SuperX. Did you say you have a 1200 Pickup too? I learned about two more USA 1200 utes on Saturday. A sky blue one for sale in LA now, and a fixer upper in Florida (ex-Puerto Rico). That makes eight!

I posted the photo and ad info in the 1200s for sale

Yes it was good to meet you. You got me into the 1200 group instead of the Truck group. That was great!

Here's my summary of Saturday's car show.

5th ANNUAL JCCS October, 2009 dawned early Saturday morning. By 7 am there was a line of cars waiting. It was 83 degrees blue-sky clear. If that's too hot for you (it felt hotter to me), JCCS was held on the grounds of Wild Kingdom water park with water slides and all.

Ten Datsun Sunnii showed, including 1200 Coupes & 2-dr Sedans, a 1200 Pickup, a B210 Coupe and a Datsun 1000 2-dr sedan.

I know the seller and he is a bit of a hoon.. I've not seen the truck, but he has been telling me about it for years. I saw him at the show and did a quick about face before he recognized me :)

Yes, Canby is 2nd weekend in June. It is a great show too, but JCCS was just awesome. Imagine a row of C10 and C110 skylines, a Z 432, six 2000GTs... and that's just a start.

The Datsun 1000 I got lots of pics. They are wide-wide Watanabe with strecthed tires. This little Datsun got a lot of attention in LA -- they'd never seen one before.
