I have a set of Keihin FCR32 Carburettors on a manifold coming in a couple of weeks and going on an A12. Just wondering if anyone have done this setup or similar, using motorbike carburettors. Ive managed to research a limited amount about these setups and all sounds good! makes sense. And different
Any opinions please

They'd be great on a properly downported (race) head. Bottom picture looks good.

FCR flatslides.

You have to be a little careful about which ones you get (unless of course you buy the kit complete) as some are semi-downdraught and others are sidedraught.

I like how you have 'searched a limited amount' and managed to buy them. Nothing like stepping into the deep end.

If that is the kit in the first picture then it looks like everything is there in terms of the drip feed tank and the jets. Look like you have the semi-downdraught type. The actual engine might be the one in need of attention as these carbs like to work the dog out of what ever head they're attached to. They'd group well with a GX head and a knifed crank and perforated flywheel.

Where did you get them from? Sounds like a yahoo japan thing by your description of the 'couple of weeks'.

Tell us what your plans are first, and then people might be able to respond with some useful advice. I'd like to hear about the engine you are attaching this to.
