Wow very interesting.
From the brochure I would have never guessed the rear of the bonnet was [edit:wider] than the front.

RE510, thanks for the photos. Can you post one of the topside of the bonnet? as if viewed from the air.

I wander if you could get all the required panels from japan (or a front cut) and build one?

in order to build one, we need a front cut of course

bearing in mind that pb110 is 40mm longer in wheelbase, you cant get front tyres inline with wheel arches of pb110.

even if you do manage to squeez them in, they wont turn as any movement will surely hit the guards.

it is a shame that the hood will be useless :C
i never heard anyone with a pb110 here in malaysia, let alone seeing one myself

1. The PB110 is 40mm longer in the wheelbase than the B110 & it is all in front of the firewall.
2. Additionally, the front sheet metal is longer in front of the RSP [Radiator support pannel] so
3. I think that it will fit your hinges, &
4. it will fit between the front mudguards/fenders,
5.it will also sit forward of your existing sheet metal.
6. I also suspect that the latch mechanism will not pick up the catch on the RSP as the bonnet/hood parts will be too far forward.

Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Well I screwed up on points 3. & 4. so I got a hit rate of 66% on my predictions.
I suspect that the PB110 hinges might just fit the B110 mounting points in the body, but I'm promising nothing.

I forgot to mention that the cowl top panel [in front of the windscreen] is a different part number than the B110 so it would be a different shape to match the bonnet [or vice versa]
Yes, I have both a B110 & a PB110 parts book.

If a 'front cut' is contemplated then take a cut through the windscreen pillars & across the floor as there are a lot more differences in this forward part of the body than you might think.
Behind this line the body shells are pretty much the same.

Oh yeah, all of the front suspension & steering is unique to this model. It is essentially based on 'P' body components, particularly the steering so the original B110 parts won't fit & work.
The US model B210 apears to be based on the PB210 shell & it uses the heavier suspension & brakes, so I suspect that the steering is PB210 as well.
['P' body as on P510, P610 etc.]

Yes, B210 with A14 uses the PB110 suspension. It is designed for the Datsun 610 according to my "Introduction of Datsun B210" factory publication.

There is no "P" body, but rather P indicates a larger engine. For example regular 610 and P610 use the same suspension.

PB110 sedan & coupe use same hood (bonnet) part number. No difference.

PB110 is same width as B110.
PB110 sedan: 1500 mm
B110 sedan: 1495 mm
B110 coupe: 1515 mm
