Yes, they are nearly exactly the same except the linkage. 38mm Hitachi carburetors.

Hmm looks like I need to get my hands on a GX mani!!!
What is the differnence between these carbs and the ones for the GX, wich is better?

I would say the GX ones are better because they don't have those emissions stuff on that can reduce performance.
The needle can be different because these ones are needled for a 1800cc motor.

there is lots more room in my mailbox, try sending them 2 or 3 at a time, I didn't receive anything

Emissions can be blocked of, wich design of carb is better?
Any apparently you need to re jet anyway, and there are like around 500 different ones!!!
