i just looked over the topic and realised my first post could be very confusing

i have recently put a CA in my car using the skyline stumpy box, i think it could be easily mis-read

talking about 5 speeds i do have a 60 series 5 speed but not the dog leg type. I know this gear box requires a modified cross member to fit the manual tunnel. It looks like this is going to be a little more difficult than what i expected. fingers x

The 60-series 5-speed does not require a modified transmission crossmember. I always just made a u-shaped flat steel bracket, and used the stock gearbox mount. There are photos in the wiki.
