Hi guys i need some help.
I blew my A15 recently and have it apart( first Time). I didn't build it but runs.
Aria 78 mm 307ss pistons- (now Stuffed)
But I want to know about the other components are they standard from A15 or is it a hybrid.
I measured the crank throw between centres at 45 mm, I figured that this would have to be doubled to get a rough idea on stroke, 90 mm would seem the figure but it seems way bigger than should be.
part number on crank is H97 57-0.
Rods are 91-1n72-2
head is h891 other number 618.
I can't identify the cam either, only numbers are 14-0x-09, 72.6,107
I am a bit of a nong i know, but can anybody help me on this one.
thanks Blake

Ok from what i can gather your head is a H97 which i believe is off of an A14/A15 does it have the oval ports or double valve springs? Standard bore for an A15 is 76mm so your block is obviously oversize. And bore is 82mm so youve either made incorrect measurement or calculations or you and a different crank giving you a longer stroke. As for the rods or cam i cant help sorry but by going on the rest of the engine i would say that they wouldnt be standard.

Hi Blake,
My A15 is out of my ute as of last night and I'll be stripping it down today, so I'll see what numbers i can find.

Mine is relatively stock but I'll post what I find anyway just in case it helps in some way.
