that was brutal...fat kids got stuck in there all the time, theyd go in and couldnt climb out again :)

the city carpark one was bulldozzed years ago...not sure if they built another one...but for its size it was such a well designed park...plus thered always be good metal bands playing and free krishna food at the youth centre back in the day :)

Yeh Im the same mate, not sure, most of the time im afraid of what Ill remember from my teenage years there ;) Terrace Bar and the Asylum will always be remembered fondly though...

The pine forests were awesome, I learnt to drive in them back in the day you got your full licence at 16, taking and doing things to a Suzuki Alto to where no Suzuki Altos have gone or done before(maybe this is where my love for small cars came from)
We spent a lot of time in them getting up to all kinds of mischief, still never found those witches covens and satanic cults that were rumoured to hang out in them :)

lol had so many good times in the southside woden/tuggers area... some good times northside but spent more time down south.

i remember the rock ape, ANU bar (monster magnet, forte, and a few of my mates bands), this downstairs place in civic right near the interchange where i went a saw Henrys Anger a couple times and Mick Hart... so many bands and so much wild turkey lol

alot of people i know say canberra is a boring place but when you get into the music, car, bmx scenes its an awesome place.

except for the cold.

I used to play in all those venues: Terrace, Terminus, Asylum, ANU, Gypsy bar. All of it was gone by the time I left there about eight years ago, now there really is nothing.
