Anyone know a good Datsun electrician? My 1200 ute has a bunch of electrical issues and I was wondering if anyone knew a good contact on the Gold Coast?....preferably a mobile mechanic since I don't have rego or rwc for my ute yet.

what about getting a new old loom...if someone has one lying around, would take half the time and hopefully it will work

mate, invest in a decent multi-meter, terminal cleaning files, Contact cleaning spray and a soldering iron. Should be able to sort out most electrical issues with above-mentioned.

An auto electrician will cost you up to $100/hr. A bit of patience, level head and some time, and you will be able to progressively fix, or at least identify most faults yourself, while becoming more familiar with your vehicle in the process.
