Hey guys i'm thinking of buying some larger wheels for my 1200 coupe without wanting to change struts. The wheels are "ox wheels 651" they are 17x7 with 40+ offset. Is it possible to fit them to my car without changing anything? I don't mind if i have to use wheel spaces or bolt on wheel spacers. Would love heaps of helpful information if possible. Thank you again Nick

I'm probably wrong in my limited savvy of wheels and offsets, but isn't +40 offset and a 7 inch wide rim a really difficult/impossible combination? I think the only way to get them on is with a really fat spacer, but then you have the stud problem.

I think you would have to change almost everything ranging from the 4 Stud bolt pattern to the ultra small disc brake setup.

well that picture u have posted is 5 stud to start with, you can run any size spacer required but they are not very safe and insurance won't cover them or are they roadworthy, you can buy cnc spacer off ebay that bolt to your hub then have there own studs, but I also think you'll need to do some body mod's to fit such a wide rim and tire, also it'll look like a boat that's what I think anyways.

15x7 won't fit any better.
17x7 with +0 offset might fit.

I wouldn't go any bigger than 15s, fitment aside it'll look farking ridiculous with 17s.

i think your best bet would be to take it to a wheel shop and try different sizes and offsets on the car plus they would definitely have advice/opinions that would be benificial.

mate anythings possible i fit 18's on my 1200 sedan no idea on offset but had to cut and fold the guards a bit but it makes the car sit high as... next step is to shorten my diff and get the rear tubbed to fit 19's or 20's with 18's on the front
