Andy I think Bathurst Globes might be found on a Cobra or as an option on a GTHO but an XU1 would have sprint masters.

you can never have enough ofset on a datto !

What kind of datto are you thinking of? Datsun 1200 stockers are +30 offset on 4" width.

When you get to 7" width, they better be close to nuetral offset. FWD wheels have highly positive offset, which only work on a 1200 in the narrower widths.

Ahh i stand corrected Thanks sidey many do refer to the XU-1 sprintmasters as Bathurst globes mainly cause they were on Bathurst Toranas but yes the genuine ones originated on HOey's and Cobra's.

DAT5MAD i want $120 plus post for the 4 Rims. Will they fit a 1200 ? Can have a look later today on me parts sedan and get back to you but they have high profile tyres on them so that wont do me any favours.

bathurst globes only feratured on the ford gtho's (and I think only the last of them too) GTs/earlier stuff ran pressed steel rims previously that were (believe it or not) riveted together (big steel rivets, not the stuff holding your shed roof on!).

The XU-1s ran steel rims too - except the last of teh bathurst specials - the wheels most commonly assosciated with them (despite most of them not coming out of the factory with them) are known as 'sprintmasters' not gloves (mostly in 13x.5.5 though the very last of teh bathust specials and also HK monaros used for rallying got 14 in versions - which are worth ridiculous money these days) - Even mini cooper Ss had steel wheels - the 'minilite' rims assosciated with them weren't factory. And the e49 chargers ran ROH 5 slot 'jellybean' mags.

So technically this shaped rim doesn't have a lot of history at bathurst besides the last of the gts - the phase 3s - but having said that, they are a good looking rim for older cars. I can attest to them looking good on aus built chargers (I have to say that, I've got a set of em!) s well. I've run a set on a corolla previously (a ke30) - and honestly reckon they might look the goods on a 1200 - it'd just depend on whether the offset of this particular set was right.

dont fit too well stock. 8mm spacers on rear. and was stock on 20mm bolt ons on the front lmfao.
now on stanza struts so no worries.
look good on a white car. there copies of a crossbredded simmons b45 and globe style. either way look alright for nothing.
pic is obviously with overspray all over the polished lip because im lazy.
and other pic is when it was on the road unpainted etc.
