your best bet would be to grab youself some old FF&R magazines with articles about buildups and how others have gone about achieving horse power. id be happy to TRY and
answer any questions u have, i dont have the greatest knowledge base but i'll do what i can. my email is r34gtr@picknowl.com.au

Have a look at these web-sites I found with google:

http://www.howstuffworks.com/engine.htm
http://www-personal.wccnet.org/~eileen/agenda.html
http://www.encyclopedia.com/articles/06415.html
www.autospeed.com

I also reckon 'Zoom' magazine is really good to learn about the technical stuff (efi, engine conversions, etc), Its like Fast fours, except there is less focus on silly
stuff like stereos and bodykits.

James.

id like to point out that it is indeed HOT fours (im not taking a shot at u twitch) that is responsible for the bodykit/stero crap, although some garbage like that does filter though to
the fast fours department. i dont understand what a sub has to do with perfomance?? let alone why it is featured in an article displaying a well tuned vehicle. i agree with twitch that
zoom is much better technically, however u have to sort through to find fours articles. just remember never to quote facts, figures and times from magazines, unless u see official times
and or dyno graphs, as they can sometimes be inaccurate.
ahhh, thats better.
my 2 cents!!!

Go to the Encyclopedia Britanica website. Or better yet get the cd of someone. It has heaps of grassroots info on the internals
of a inline 4.
