in vic you now need an engineers cert for anyhting that increases tourque or hp more than 10% according to mr x at that evil place.
they wanted to know who i am so iasked what is your name and significance in the schem e of things, i got asked for my rego number and said its not regoed yet...
basically they are tight now since the influx of 15yr old imprts and the popularity of rb20 and rb25 engines into silvias and 180sxs.

look at the a12 bigblock work as i am, legal in an a12 block, more cc than a15

i contacted 3 engineers, one could not be bothered an 2 wanted high$$$ for wasting their time with an easy swap

Do what Id do, grind off a15 and re stamp it . A set of number stamps is far cheaper than certifing, I know, Iknow, that can void your insurance, but its not mandatory in NZ and up untill last friday I havent nad any since 1996. Just keep your mouth shut and dont crash. YEE-HAW

this is what the LTSA here in n.z says about engine swapping stuff......
"if the new engine is the same type and size then no documentation is required. We simply need to amend our records to reflect the new engine number. If the CC rating alters by 20% or more you are required to have a Low Volume Code inspection (you will be issued with a Modification Certificate)."
