i was looking around a wecking yard and i found a Hall-effect module from a nissan c20 van, i looked in my haynes manual and thear should be a comtroll unit but it was not thear
is thear any other way of making it work.

sorry I missed this earlier.
If you mean you want to go to a magnetic pickup
coil ignition, earlier 120Y setup was good and fairly reliable and I think the distributers will
fit from an A14. If the transister controll unit is all you need, a common Chevy unit that is usually in the chevy distributer
will do the trick
and are tons cheaper to buy. If I remember there is a section of Martin Pot's mods page that tells
about this very thing.

I've used a Pertronix,Inc IGNITOR (p/n 1181) for many years. It costs about $60USA and fits in the stock A12 distributor. Not including the time to read the instructions, it
takes less than half an hour to install.
The one problem is that you cannot use a high output coil. It cannot handle the high current.
BUT... it makes a great trigger for an MSD.
Also, you can easily reinstall your points if it ever fails. I carry a brand new set of points in my car for just such an emergency.
