scuttle was rusty, so I got a good replacement off DatsAndy (thanks!).

but first I have to fix the plenum chamber.

starting on one side.

Lookin good Ed. I wish I could say I was close to the end of my rust repairs!

I'm a bit scared of what mine will look like under the scuttle. It has the tell tale rust spots inside under the dash support.

Keep it up!

Shoota,

thanks mate,

I am so tired of fixing rust at the moment... I reckon I've spent over 200 hours, 3 x E size Argoshield refills, about 7.5kg of welding wire, 20 flap discs, 20 cut off wheels... this is probably familiar for all the guys here as well lol

got to do some minor rust around the strut towers, and then stitch the scuttle on and make up the ends.

do the doors and then on to the smooth and paint side of things.. cant wait.

im sure a couple of things will surface as I strip the paint.

Cheers

Ed

Hi,

it's been a while between updates.

in the meantime ive been smoothing panels, sanding, hifilling, more sanding.

I got a bit eager with colour and decided to shoot the base onto the interior. While the interior isnt perfect (panel wise), I like the colour. it's going to be 2 tone, black over burgundy with a white pin stripe.
