has anyone put a 1200 ute on a awd platform say something like a evo 3 setup

There were some utes put on Suzuki siera chasis. Could almost mod it for the jap cultis running gear but any east west engine will struggle to fit.

I liked the idea of mid rear 1200 ute. 3sgte from Toyota mr2 gt or even better caldina. Awesome motor. But way too much custom to be of any road reg benefit

Isn't there a 1200 bakkie with the evo setup (South Africa)? It's a rally car, beast.

You going to have a minitruckin', tray backin' AWD ute unvute? Sounds great.

I like the mr2 idea with engine midmount or rear of ute
then a prop shaft going forward for 20% grip like on
a GTR while mostly remaining and feeling like a RWD.
