RC sorry been out of action with me mates mum loosing against cancer and other issues I wont bore ya all with.
A Melbourne cruze should happen when we have some reliable rides like mine
But in a few days mine is getting a full respray in its original glory ...off white!
Im after a twin Hitachy setup if someone has them for some 40mm dellortos with 90 bucks spent for two rubuild and gasket kits as Im going single 48mm downdraft for the 13b for the wagon with the tubular front end a-la-Stevos 1K race car. (Ill swap anyone for a single downdraft 48-55mm dellorto otherwise)
Since I do the Art and craft markets with my wife its my excuse to keep toying with 1Ks "its a wagon we dont need a boring van!" .. so far its worked and shes coming round to liking the idea after Stevens 1k wagon pic of recent. "Look look this is what its gonna look like except without those daggy jelly beans"
The sedan with the tame A series will be the clean and economical (well SUS are cheaper on fuel than dellortos or webers) runabout and back up 1K in case the wagon breaks an axle or something not up to the rotor.
Also been looking at the M15a engine in the new Suzuki ignis. Ive trying to find our about the "junior rally version" if it has the hayabusa head to achieve 160kw (218hp) restricted or just cams and hayabusa pistons.
It would make sense for suzuki to use the hayabusa bits since they are off the shelf and to design a new engine again (if you look at their engine charts theyve built so many new blocks! but most adapt the sierra rwd 5 speed to it) the m15a has the same dimensions with a side cam chain drive and if you look at this website the same bore and compression as the hayabusa.
