sounds very much like turbo seal, run it without the turbo on the exhaust manifold and see if any smoke?

yeah thats my next step but i noticed when i draied my oil i drained over 4Litres almost a ful bottle of oil n theres more to come out,

i should have checked it with much less oil in it.. could that cause oil burning, being that theres too much somewhere?

That's a bit of oil- will push past rings into combustion
But as stated most likely turbo seal

im gonna seperate the turbo from the mani n just plumb her up, this way smoke will come out either turbo or head.

and im only gonna put half the oil back in, i pray it was just to much oil in and it pushes past some stupid seal hahah.

Why not just check the dip stick to make sure the right amounts in there?

if you had to much oil it'd be pushing pass the rings and you'd be getting a lot of blow by feel free to correct me if im wrong. i wouldn't pull anything off just make sure the correct amount of oil is in there and if it is still blowing blue smoke i dare say your up for a turbo rebuild

my mrs's friend topped up her oil before driving to adelaide, was half way between empty and full... so she put the whole 5ltr bottle in....

blew rear main seal and dumped all the oil out... but no major damage.. on an oldish fwd lancer

anyway... thats unrelated

hows the turbo gonna blow smoke if its disconnected from manifold?, and how are you unsure how much oil to put in?.... from your comments I am concerned that you should not be trying to run the motor without turbo connected as I'm not sure you have the mechanical know how to do it without doing more damage.

i sincerely don't mean to offend you, but i don't want to make recommendations to try things if your potentially going to do more damage

okay so after running the motor for 5-10 mins and the smmoke got a little too much to handle i shut her of n removed the exhaust pipes and turbos together, to my suprise the exhause ports are just black but the dump pipe was soaked in oil.

sooo... after realising i added nearly 4.5L of #OOPS# quality oil i drained her and filled half back into see if she still spits out oil, and she did spit oil but only when boost was up, i checked all my intercooler pipes but thre clean as new,but the rear of the turbo is just saturated in oil, this amount of oil can not pass the cylinder head this wet? so ive come to the conclusion its gotta be the turbo, because when i looked into the exhause ports i saw the exhause manifold was dry just like the head,my sparks were the same colour as my exhase ports with no oily substance..

sorry for the essay but i think its clear that im up for a bored out T25 ballbaring one,

if i had the entire exhaust system up with the cat on would this smoke reach out the tips at the end and pass the cat convetre?

The oil probably would have ruined your cat
