allright - here's 'my' update. I'll be heading up to Sydney on thursday. I will be in a datto, so I can't tow a trailer, and therefore can't collect the car as such. But I would (if and _only_ if you find this agreeable) be keen to pull the doors, the wheels, the rear suspension and 'some' of the front suspension off it.

That would leave it (obviously) as a non roller. But reading between the lines here, I think you have suggested there is the option of a scrap metal guy pickng it up (something you wanted to avoid). It's totally up to you, but this way at least the rest of the bits won't go to scrap, but the shell itself would (so there'd be enough value in it for a scrappy to pick it up without charge).

I totally understand if this is not worth the hassle for you. let me know either way :)

I have to say apart from the surface rust the sills and the rest look really good! I wish I didnt have so many cars otherwise this would make an awesome base to restore.
No one on Ozdat wants it????? Have you tried Ausrotary Im sure someone there wants the best car avail for a rotary.
If you used some Ranex rust converter and halve a dozen cans of rustguard paint it would sell on evil bay easily.
