Its actually the "E1" the granddaddy of the A10
it was found in 311 datsuns and even the first
datsun 1000 Austin bodied 4 door.

E1 is a 1200cc engine, so it wouldn't come in any "Datsun 1000", it first came in the 1200 Bluebird.

Last used in the 410 bluebird
Was also used in the 320 trucks

It is a low-power cast iron engine. Durable, reliable.
