ECU
INPUTS
coil negative (tach sense)
air flow meter
air temp sensor (in flow meter)
throttle valve sensor
START wire for ignition switch
water temp sensor (on underside of intake manifold)
O2 sensor (not used for B310, but some ECUs have a wire for it)
OUTPUTS
Injector output

Means no crank sensor input??

There is no crank sensor

It does read from the module on the distributor

The datto injection, like most (except the very latest modern cars), uses batch fire, it does not need to know which cylinder is firing as it squirts petrol at all of them every time it fires (regardless if inlet valve is open or not)

In my setup i used a Delco ecu, I simply used the factory electronic dizzy, but exchanged the module for the one to suit a Delco system, It is possible to get factory elec dizzy second hand from USA, but they are usually excessively worn out

I have imported a new one, but it needed a rebuild after i received it as the mechanical advance was poorly weighted and the springs were not strong enough to return the advance after it had moved the first time. Although now it has been rebuilt it has worked great for the last year.

Thanks for the reply 1200rallycar...
I found out that A15E were using L-Jetronic which some of it didnt use crank signal.(Same as some BMW).
Means it definitely not using Sequential Injection...
Less accurate since it pickup the injection signal frm the dizzy as the dizzy will advance.
But since i hv this A15E injection,i will try to make run 1st...
Might change to some D-Jetronic later n install programmable ecu later...

Could overcome the problem of the injector timing advancing parallel to the ignition timing by lockin the dizzy and having a programmable msd or similar box between the coil an the dizzy to keep the injector timing set and still advance the timing , the msd box can do data logging aswell and is tunable from a normal laptop

theres an a14 efi manifold for sale on perth gumtree at the moment

Good idea to use msd to advance the ignition...

Would you notice a big difference from batch firing as opposed to sequential on an A series?
