I had seen a 1200 ute with the front quarter window removed some time ago and wanted to go that way myself. Spent a lot of time looking at old toyotas to see if I could find a window that would fit without modification..came close, but no luck.

What sort of money did they charge for custom window glass? Is it flat glass or does it need a tiny curve in it? Did you have to make up a new channel for the front? Looks great!

Yep there is 1 ute that has it but it's no street car.glass is curved and no you won't find another window to fit.its a big job so don't do it unless you know people and know what your doing.i had custom made rubbers and channels made to suit.and changed the window reg
