Thats for that.
So you are saying paint the headers BEFORE applying the wrap?
I have read articles where various people recommend applying a silicon sealer AFTER wrapping.

Paint the extractors first, wrap them and then seal them properly.

Dave, don't write off ceramic coatings yet.
Elite powder coatings on the corner of Cass and Orbell st now do the same coatings that HPC in Auckland do. Although they're closer, cheaper, and they claim their coatings to be beter stuff than HPC use. PLus they do it once a week, so it's decent turnaround.
John (skdmrx) had them do the headers on his cedric. He happy with them.
