I am considering giving up my 30 year struggle to restore my 1st car and my newest 1200. They have been sitting for ten years now. Due to the heat in Texas, I can't work all day and then hop into a hot car. The weather in Texas changes so quickly, rolled down windows become an invitation for water and dirt without much, if any warning. I've had many, many firsts in these cars. Memories i'll never forget. I can't quite get the nerve up to scrap my babies but they can't just sit here anymore. Is there any market for these anymore? I've watched many of the members here do the things that my job and family simply don't leave time or resources for me to do. These cars once sat parked next to John's amazing electric sedans while I held my then five year old child (now 19) and dreamed what I'd do to my humble coupes. Certainly some of you have been in this spot. In ten years i'll regret letting these go right? I don't even know what they're worth. They are not that $7000 dollar 1200 on Ebay but they are not junk either. Not to mention all the extra doors, fenders, little bits..etc. Please send opinions, i'd greatly appreciate any thoughts on this. Also, all you members, thanks for over tens years of pics and stories that allowed me to see what could be done. My appologies to the moderators if this is not posted to the proper place.

What kind of shape are they in? Do you have any Pictures? My Dad might be interested as his old coupe's body is rusted beyond repair.

Both are in good condition with minimal rust at bottom of rockers. I'll get some pics up in the next few days.

Interested if they are in fair shape. I do most mechanical work myself and would like to get a 1200 again if possible.

The ugly one has twin SU carbs and a GX header, GX head including dual valve springs. Engine was rebuilt 15 years ago and probably has less than 10k on it. Also, there is a rebuilt A15 sitting here that never made it into the car. The white one is all stock other than being lowered and has a high mile tired engine but still runs pretty well. All tires are rotten and all paint is bad. No floorboard rust but lower fenders as seen in pics have developed pretty bad rust. Looking to beat scrap value in the sale of these. Extra parts include doors, fenders, grills, hoods, decklids, more small parts than I can name, dash pads, instrument clusters. Most parts are decent, all are usable, a few are great shape.

It appears that although I am a computer wiz, I am not smart enough to post pics to this thread. Out of time today but i'll try again later if they don't magically appear. Maybe my file size was too big? Sorry guys, i'll get back when I can. My profile pic shows my white 1200 nearlly 15 years ago. Not so shiny now...meh.

File size must be under 200k, photo size may be up to 1280-pixels wide.

Oy, says it right at the top too. Thanks ddgonzal for the info. Sorry for missing the obvious. Just out of pure lack of time and laziness, what's the fastest way to downsize my pics? I don't have any software on this PC or my phone that will work and it will be next week before I'll have access. I don't have admin to install on this PC either. I guess i'm spoiled with FB and similar things that take all the work out of dealing with photo size. I've gotten used to uploading a megapixel sized pic with no work involved. Thanks in advance.

Use Mspaint which comes with windows. Use the Image/Skew menu at use 50% or 25% or whatever. Or upload it to Photobucket first, then link it to this web site.
