Two things: 1. Disconnect external regulator 2. Jump two wires from regulator connector to Alternator connector See IR Alternator Conversion Wiring

Hey i was reading that the lucas 15 ac alternator is internaly regulated and i have one But i realised the alternator on the T connection only has IND terminal And not another one so will this still work by bypassing the external regulator with jumper wires
As my wiring harness has to wires in the T connection
Thanks

Datsun wiring harness has a T-connector for the alternator. Does your 120Y have something different? Maybe it's an aussie-built model.
You cannot plug a T-connector into an alternator with a different style connector.

Does your dash CHG lamp work correctly? Goes on with key ON engine OFF, and as soon as engine starts goes out?
Lucas 15AC and Datsun alternators both use a T-connector. This means Japan-built and Australia-built 120Ys should have a T-connector in the wiring harness. But the wiring is different.
Lucas 15AC alternator: IND/lamp connection Datsun FN alternator: No indicator/lamp connection
On a Datsun designed for the FN type alternator (basically all Japan-built Datsuns from 1970-1978), the external regulator provides the Lamp signal. Presumably a Australian-assembled B210 wiring harness for 15AC is wired slightly differently than a Japan-built B210. Maybe it came with a harness adapter where the regulator normally plugs in.
