Actually I think it is the bushing bore diameter -- one has a smaller bolt. If you look at our photos there is a ruler in each photo. Looks like both front bushings are about 35mm O.D. but one has a smaller bolt hole.

And there are more than just pic in Leaf Springs -- all the part numbers are here as well as recent prices.

Using different bushings could work just need to state if ute, sedan/coupe. I know ddgonzal you have been through this before from other threads. 11mm for sedan, coupe and 13mm for ute's Still not 100% if thats right yet

My recent reply from Mark:

Hello Justin,

The Flex-Tracks are priced at $320 per pair. They are bolted onto the shock plate, so the detail of the shock plate factors into what is involved in the Flex-Tracks. Could you get a camera shot from under your vehicle showing the bottom surface of a shock plate? We would be looking for a flat surface and if not flat, what features there are on the bottom part of the plate between the U-bolts.
I would encourage you to consider a little bit higher spring rate. Our experience has been that an original 109 lb/in rate feels to most people like a little bit higher than 120 with our springs.

Thanks,

Mark

I'm not sure what he's trying to say with the spring rate, I suggested 120 lb/in and it sounds like he thought it was too low.

I was going to say you can get cheaper ones from Jegs or order online American parts shop, but these look really nice and light again.

D was talking about flex track. Would be easier to get them made in aus once you get the ride height you want.

Ok. Several things we need to sort out here.

1. Can everybody confirm if they would like to go ahead with this price. It appears we only have 6 at this stage so I will have to ask Mark if he can still do the unit price of $395 for 6 pairs. This may also effect postage price unless we can come up with another 2 people to commit. So far the following have confirmed.

1. Ruredi (Myself)
2. Sikyne
3.oda70
4.fiass
5.Ogyris

townie originally in. Have PM'd to confirm.

2. How does everyone wish to make payment. As previously stated, I am happy to accept payments and receipt of goods. But I also don't mind if someone else wishes to do it but someone needs to pick up the responsibility. Other option is making seperate payments to Mark and having them all sent to the one nominated address. Again I'm happy to do this.

3. Have we confirmed the stock specifications and dimensions of leaf springs for different models as asked in Post # 13

A-dimension overall = "
B-dimension center pin = "
C-dimension arch height = "
D-dimension chord = "
E-dimension bolt diameter front = , back =
F-dimension width =
Spring Rate:
Axle Percent Rate:
Car weight:

4. We have established bush sizes are different between Ute/Wagon differ from Sedan/Coupe. It has been mentioned that 11mm for sedan, coupe and 13mm for ute's Still not 100% if thats right yet? Coudl we confirm this?

5. Reverse Eye or Not? Reversed Front eye would foul on chassis?

6. Spring rates and ride height? Is there any guide or pics on what or how much our cars will be lowered to by changing the arc height?

Once we have figured this out, we can get them on the way.

I have asked DON_1200 to take these measurements as he will have the coupe springs out of his car. I hope he remembers! it would be the only accurate way to do it. Surely though Mark would have all of these measurements already, he has made these in the past.

Yeah true but would be good to double check. It's not like its easy to return them once they are here. Inexpensively anyway...

I dug this up from an old post back in 2003.

Lets see how close DON_1200 gets...

F-dimension width = 2".
Car weight = 1640 pounds
Axle Percent Rate: 48/52?

Those 2003 dimensions are incorrect. That was probably for the sedan/coup spring pack, and custom at that.

Axle weight distribution percentage is 54/46.

The other dimensions are listed in Leaf Springs, right out of Nissan documents. For example:
* Dimension A is 1110 mm (43.7 inches)
* Dimension F is 50 mm
