Just wondering if you can put a A14head on a A12block the head is a round port if that helps

yes,on later a12s, also need to change inlet to suit a14 head

A14 is fitted with a late-model cylinder head.

Fitted to early A12 block: Bolts on, but mod needed for oil passage.
Fitted to late A12 block: bolt on. No mods needed.

Ahhhh that sucks that's my problem so how do you mod the oil passage or am I just better off finding a late model a12. Manifold is all good I've mad one form motorbike carbs

do you have a early a12, wheres the dizy located, front or middle of engine

The dizzy is at the front it's the original motor and its a 71 sedan

the mod is not hard to do,its just drilling a small hole(3-4mm) for oil to go to rocker gear.

Ohk sweet and obviously mod the head gasket as well cheers for that ill see how I go
