Hey guys

I just have a quick question about the Datsun 1200 ute leaf springs I got from mad dat. They have the reverse eye but when I fit them up and put the front eye in and go to put them onto the rear eye the front eye just in front it is touching the body. Should that happen? Just want some clarification please.

Cheers Jason

U may have problems fitting them to something out her than a ute as ute front eyes bolt into to chassis but coupe and I think sedans have a front shackle as well

Edit. Never bought maddat leafs so was just assuming that was the go I have been corrected thanks oldtin :)

there made to fit the coupe so fit straight in the sedan as well but think they need some massaging to fit a ute.

He says they are ute leaf springs. Are you saying that Maddat have never sold ute leaf springs?

Can you trim a little bit out of the spring mount?

Thank you for the help guys. I called Scott from maddat today and he said I just have to cut out a peice from the front eye so it won't hit the body anymore :)
