What could cause the caburettor to not lean out i didnt touch any jets but noe its running a bit rich

Check your floats. When up and closed, the floats should be parallel with the lid of the carb. If they are bent up, then you are over-filling the bowl. This can cause your carb to run rich.

Last week>> im now gettin smooth transition and instant acceleration due to the timing in the engine was out bad. I've adjusted the caburettor to best lean idle its responding great.

If it was running great and all of a sudden is now running rich, check the basics first: points gap, timing, float level, choke setting

Yea its work ok but im hearing a whistle sound coming out of the cabby before i got the timing set now its set and still whistling but its running fine any idea whats that?

Whistling sound is normal if the air cleaner is removed. Otherwise it may be caused by an air leak (which will cause engine to run leaner). Check the tightness of the air jets & jet covers on the top of the carburetor.

Another cause of whistling air leaks is a cracked or disconnected vacuum hose.
