Hi everyone This is 09racing from Japan who makes hakotora kit in Japan. The cost of the kit is not $7000 but it is 322,000JPY about USD3300 at todays exchange rate. That does not include shipping. We usually ship using EMS which is a postal service which is cheapest and you have a choice of air or ocean. You can also purchase parts separately. If you have any inquiries please send us an email. Look forward to talking with you all.

Great to see you here, welcome! What are the shipping costs to Australia? Approximately?

Hey 09racing,

Firstly, kudos for ur enthuthiasm to old school cars.

I Bought ur dry carbon A-series rocker cover 2 years ago from yahoo auctions!

Full Kit including the light bezels will cost near 6.5-7k landed in Australia.Reason being shipping, import duty, taxes etc etc

from ur website kit is 338,100yen around $aud 3691
light bezels are 147,000yen around $aud 1605
thats $aud 5296 without including shipping.

I've bought quite abit of gear from japan and the shipping, import duty, taxes etc adds to cost of the item.Ocean is most of the time cheaper than air when buying in bulk.only disadvantage is takes longer.

cheers

Welcome,
So cool to hear from you Michi!
That is such an awesome truck you have built, it is my absolute favourite.
The a12 engine with the crank pick-up shown on the 09 Racing site looks sweet, I would love to hear more about it.
Im normally floating around on the www.nzdatsun.com website, there are alot of people on that site that enjoy your work too.
Thanks for posting,
Joel
