Hi guys I have a 1200 ute diff here and I was wondering if anyone might be able to tell me what would be involved to mount it upto my 120Y? Thanks

Depends. 120Y coupe rear axle assembly is very similar. 120Y sedan is different.

I did it in a sedan once.
I used a ute tailshaft that had to be lengthened slightly. (It did engage the splines on the gearbox but was not safe, hence the lengthening.)
The brake splitter is on the opposite side of the diff. (Made new brake lines and swapped to other side of housing)
The shock absorber mounts were cut off the original diff housing and welded onto the ute housing.
