I really like the look of the old late 60-early 70s corona, its boxey yet has a cool flair to it. Datsun and Toyota were very compeditive with each other and heeps of their designs are very similar. They were/are both strong light simple cars that were made with good metal (for their time). Theyre much of a muchness.

Well, the 1200 comes in around 725kg.

I can tell you from experience, EVERY Toyota (comparable to another, similar Datsun), is heavier. But, I think they are built a little more "solid".

Oh yeah, that corolla from the states is fantastic, just need to remove that silly looking American flag from the front bumper... heheheh, just kidding mate...
please don't nuke us, we have no weapons of mass destruction here. Just a bad sense of humour on my behalf... is that a weapon?

Well, the early celicas had a 1.6 motor producing 115hp, and my 180b has 105hp, and the celica has it in the looks department in my op. The 1200 has it over the corolla, But wot does power really have to do with it in this day and age, drop a turbo-charged motor into anything and it will fly.

They are a waste of time off-road. The 2 tonne of weight (With V8), doesn't get very far without getting stuck. Cruisers are for cruising the streets. Unfortunely so are the Patrols.
