Bottom end from 1200 GX
A12 early type dizzie orientation
no cylinder head
flat top 10.1 pistons
GX camshaft grind
rated at 80hp in 1972

Also round port head that with 34mm bike carbs
with easily make 80-90 hp with this bottom end

Just needs honing and new rings as been sitting
around for a while, hone marks there and could
run well as is but to make sure

$200 plus 40 freight

Just wondering if you know what the differences between the GX blocks and the regular A12 blocks are? I've heard a few people say they are different but never got any answers of what specific parts are different if any. Any stampings or castings on the outside of the block to identify one as a GX block?

Have you got a photo of the bike carb manifold too please? Is the 200 bucks for everything you've listed?

GX block is the same as regular A12 block, of course the installed cam is different and pistons are different.

Cheers for the info and GLWS, if I hadn't already picked up a H75 head I'd be all over this.
