Unfortunately I need to sell my Datsun 1000 coupe as I've got some expensive repairs to pay for to my work truck.

I purchased "Tigger" from Bert (Rob Souter) on these forums in 2008 and have competed in plenty of events since with the car always proving very competitive in it's class.

Quick specs breakdown (Happy to provide full details to interested parties.)

1969 KB10 coupe
Chrome orange

A12 motor with extensive modifications for increased horsepower and reliability at higher revs.
Single 45mm sidedraught Weber
Electronic ignition
Electronic fuel pump

60 series dogleg 5 speed gearbox

Custom front and rear suspension with plenty of adjustability.
The term "handles like a go kart" has never been more appropriate.

Custom front disc brakes

In cabin brake bias valve

H145 4.1:1 locked diff

13" alloy wheels with near new street tyres
13" alloy wheels with Avon semi slicks
10" custom steel wheels

Stripped interior with a half cage, fixed back race seat and 4 point harness.
Original seat belts and passenger seat will come with the car.

Extensive spares package will come with the car including:
H145 3.9:1 open diff centre
Spare panels, bumpers and lights
Spare diff housing, subframe and suspension components
Original drum front brakes
60 series 4 speed gearbox and clutch

Tigger is extremely light with a beautifully responsive motor. He is massive fun to drive and race and always turns plenty of heads. I have found this car to be very competitive against the little Mini Cooper S's.

Tigger is currently registered on club plates but will be sold unregistered unless you can find a friendly RWC supplier yourself.

I'm really upset about having to sell it mate. I absolutely love driving it but I've got to pay for the truck repairs somehow :(

Does anybody know if this could be on club rego in NSW?

In QLD you need a CAMs license and you must be a member of a CAMs affiliated car club. There are also some restrictions on usage.

The upside is rego is massively reduced.
