Yours is an A15? Then it's not a 1200 alternator.

The most appropriate question is which alternator (manufacturer/model) is the Gilmer pulley designed for?

Here is the kemotorsport kit on a 1200 (LHS alternator)

My understanding is that from about 1980 on, the standard A12/A14/A15 waterpump is the shortnose. Before that they were longnose.

Yea mine is a A15 i asked what alternator its suited for he said hes not a datsun expert and to jump on here and ask the helpfull people on here

And yea my one looks like the waterpump on the right in the picture above..

Ok so i want to go shopping today to get this sorted..
could anyone tell me what water pump and alternator i should get?
At the moment my water pump looks like the right in the pic above and the new pulley is to small to go over it

To get the other type of water pump, ask for a "Datsun 1200" water pump. You will also need the different fan, and a different length belt to match.
