I used a LA/LB Lancer booster and master cylinder combo (same one as datto_dude) mine was a direct bolt up providing you get the adapter part from the lancer that bolts to the firewall.
It's a great booster. it fairly long and sits very snug next to my CA18DET. Although with any booster you will have alot of troubles trying to mount an (in engine bay) clutch master for the CA's clutch system.

But one thing I saw at my mech's workshop yesterday was he had a Nomad up on the hoist and it had a stumpy skyline box, but had an adapter setup to run a clutch cable, and not a hydrolic system, quite interesting.

Cheers
Damo

That's what I used front and back to satisfy the engineer. When its registered and I have driven it for a while Ill modify this setup.
